Delta Downs Station near Normanton in Queensland’s Gulf region, is one of the largest Aboriginal-owned cattle properties in Australia, one million acres and 43,000 head of cattle. The station is also known as Morr Morr and is operated by the Kurtijar People.

The property is situated approximately 74 kilometres North East of Karumba and 174 kilometres South of Kowanyama in the Gulf Country of Queensland. The property has approximately 24 km double frontage on the Gilbert River and the Smithsons River. Numerous creeks flow through the property including Lily, Delta, Rose, Duck, Sandy and Spring Creeks.

Lotus Lagoon on Delta Downs Station is an important habitat and wildlife refuge for many different birds and animals.
